Western Power is the network service provider for the South-West region of Western Australia. Currently, over 50% of our high voltage conductor network services less than approx 16,000 (1.5%) of our customers. Transitioning to a hybrid distributed energy system in an efficient, reliable and safe manner is the objective of our Grid Transformation function. Ensuring we appropriately invest as we evolve our asset requires building the expectations of customers’ changing behaviour into our energy forecasts. Western Power will present an overview of its customer segmentation research, demonstrating how we are building disruptive behaviours into our future planning.
