Pamela is the Executive Coordinator of the City of Gold Coast's Energy Management Program (EMP), a centralised business unit delegated to manage and implement effective energy based solutions across Australia's second largest Local Government Authority. Her responsibilities include directing new strategic business initiatives, implementing policy and programs, guiding corporate multi-year planning, project development and capital delivery across this $14 Billion entity. She leads a highly specialised and qualified team focussed on shifting business as usual practices to new and innovative solutions. Prior to her role with the City of Gold Coast, Pam travelled the globe as a commodities trader for some of the largest Japanese trading houses in the world. Pam serves on the council of various industry organisations where she actively collaborates and participates in driving policy and regulatory reforms in the energy industry.
