Reaching agreement with customers on a revenue proposal: a trial (312)
AusNet Services is establishing a Customer Forum in an attempt to reach agreement on its 2020-25 revenue determination for its electricity distribution network. The approach followed is based on the model successfully used by Scottish Water - who are now using this approach for the second time. This is the first time a network business is Australia has trialled this approach.
This presentation will outline the steps taken so far in establishing the Forum, and learnings from the early part of the process. The remainder of the process will be described, and similarities and differences to Scottish Water's approach will be described.
Finally, the critical success factors and barriers as seen so far will be outlined.
